i would say "do to others what you would like done to you"
if everyone followed this then there would be alot less misery
also do something nice for someone else often. make at least one person smile each day. thats what i do. this may mean offering help to lost tourists, or helping someone who's dropped stuff on a windy day. that kind of thing.
harmony is a group effort , much like water restrictions a few drops may not matter, but if everyone else thinks like that theres a gonna be trouble
