---Is Catholic--

The Roman EMPIRE crucified Christ, not specifically the Roman (Latin) People.

Roman Catholics are a part of the Catholic Church, specifically Roman Catholics are those Catholics who have the Bishop of Rome (who is ALSO the Universal Primate or Pope) for their Primate. There are other Catholics who have their own Primate and are in union with the Pope

The Roman Church of the Catholic Church is the largest part of the Catholic Church, which is the largest unified Christian group (over a billion members). This makes it the most visible force in Christianity.

Historicaly this is because of five factors 1.) The RC was the farthest Western Church founded by the apostles (Peter and Paul founded the Roman Church) 2.) The RC never created another Patriarchal See where as the Eastern Churches did (for example the Russian Orthodox Church was created by the Greek Orthodox Church). 3.) The Roman Empire in the West fell in 410 AD and the Roman Church was the ONLY force of unity in the West. 4.) The Eastern Churches were hemmed in and decimated by the Muslims and the Mongolian Empire. They would be much larger and their missionary activities would have reached further if not for Islam. 5.) Russia, and epically the Soviet Union was not supportive of the Russian Orthodox Church.

As far as Protestantism goes, Protestantism is not a unifying force. It fractured into hundreds of denominations that cannot get along with each other.

RC's have the greatest number of adherents amongst Christians. Protestants are divided into many different denominations. A competing catholithism, Orthodoxy has predominent in Russia and the Eastern Med, but in Latin America and the Philippines Roman Catholics predominate.

The RC's have a single voice, the Pope, which helps their visibility. Only Billy Graham can compete and then, he's 2nd by a long shot.

The Romans crucified Jesus because it was their way of punishment at the time, And it was Jews who had him crucified because they believed him to be a heretic. The Romans also knew that in order to win over the people, (because a lot had turned to christianity following Jesus) they needed to enforce christianity, so they have their version of it called Catholic.

By all accounts, there was no reasonable explanation why the Romans could not have stamped out Catholicism in the first century.

Still, in spite of all the persecutions and martyrdoms, Christ's Church not only prevailed - it succeeded in subduing the pagam influences of the then all time greatest earthly empire the world had known at the time.

Elegant proof of Divine origins in the Church. Wouldn't you say? Christ promised, "The gates of hell would not prevail against" his Church.

Rome, once Christianity's worst and most violent enemy, has now beocme the home and headquarters of the Catholic Papacy

Roman Catholica are not Romans and they are not Christians either.
Catholics pray to Mary who is actually a goddess by the name of Isis or Ishtar(Easter) the mother of Baal a pagan god.
They are the most visible because the are open to all religions and will always make place for it somewhere.

The Catholic Church has consistently referred to itself as the “Catholic Church” at least since 107 AD, when the term appears in the writings of St. Ignatius of Antioch

The new Anglican Church in England started using the term “Roman” in the 1500s as one of many ways of demeaning and demonizing Catholics.

Catholics accepted this late coming adjective without too much protest. Today “Catholic” and “Roman Catholic” are interchangeable terms. Both terms are even used in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

The term “Roman” neither increases nor decreases the faith, hope and love of the Catholic Church.

With love in Christ.

Romans back then were pagans. and the reason why the are the most visible is because they were the ones who adopted Christianity and wrote the bibles ( council of nausea ) .bottom line is they played the biggest role in the formation of Christianity!
by them i'm refering to the vatican.

they're the most visible force because they are the first state 'church'.
Every yin has a yang - and the Romans took out Judah/Israel and the Master - and eventually were taken out by what they took out.
The Babylonians captured the southern tribes of Israel - the Assyrians took out the northern tribes. why are we fighting in Iraq (babylon) and iran (Persia) now?

Christianity first split into two,Greek Orthodox which was based in Constantinople (in Turkey) and the one based in Rome hence the name Roman Catholics, most visible force i think because its was willing to undergo reform(second vatican council) and it makes sense if you think with your heart,in short it is "love god and love thy neighbour as yourself"
