Starting from 48 hours BEFORE the first blisters appear, till 24 hours after the last blisters crust over.

It is highly contagious. When the pox are scratched it releases oils and makes them even easier to transfer to someone else. My advice is to stay at home!

only if that person has'nt experienced it or even if they have it depends on one' hormones.u get a lot of times that one person experiences it more than once.By flesh to flesh contact or by drinking from the same cup.

The virus is transferrable while it is in the blister/oozing stage...you are considered infectious until the blisters scab over.

i was told its before the spots come out, thats why its spread so easily cause we all run around not knowing anythings wrong then the spots come out and we stay home but its too late.
