AP is a lie of the devil? Cool - guess that gives me carte blanche to explain it then!
Astral projection is...well, frankly, a bit of a weird feeling. You get more accustomed to the sensations of it the more often you do it, but you never really lose that weird feeling. It's also probably different for every person, but my own experience was...well, you know those dreams where you're flying, under perfect control? Well it was almost completely unlike that :o) I felt all over like you feel when your foot goes to sleep, and then wakes up - that pins and needley tingly disconnection thing. Also, I had to keep control of my thoughts to hold me in any one "place" or time - one wrong thought and I was out of control, like a ball on a roulette wheel. So for me, the travel itself wasn't exactly a joyride. Interesing thing to do though - it feels like there's no time on the astral plane, and all places are reachable instantaneously. Which is fascinating, but unless you learn the discipline well, it's like being set free in the universe, and not knowing where to go or how to get there. Maybe if you fix your mind firmly on where and when you want to travel to, it might be a much more pleasurable experience. Happy travelling.

Anything connected with the unnatural is of the Devil. All the things like palmistry, divination, astrology, numerology are founded on principles advocated by the devil himself. God has commanded His people not to dabble in these things. Its a sin and in the end it will lead you directly to hell. Don't ever dabble in it, however interesting it sounds.

Falco appears to be the person who gave the sanest answer to your question.
I too have done it after many years of practice. I probably could have done it earlier but I had a thing about letting go. Once you have done it is is an awesome experience. I love to do it.

Well, I'm not going to threaten you with the devil and tell you it's a lie. But, I haven't ever done it and I remain skeptical about it.
I have experienced, *ahem* pharmaceutical trances, but that's an entirely different story... and probably not at all what you mean.

Sure, I took a cap full of GHB. Then I floated arround looking at myself and everyone else from above. Kind of felt like I was swimming.
But to everyone else I just looked like an idiot that was tweaking on drugs. Because I was.

I got the study material but never had the time for it.
It is about leaving the physical body whilst sleeping and knowing about it.

Metaphysics. I'm going to say its a farce. You can trick your mind into many things, but it isn't real.
