its been like 20 minutes and its still at 0%. should i restart and try it agian or what? its tryin to do it on a 30 gig partition on a 250 gig harddrive

It can take a long time to format 250 GB. Remember that the computer must rearrange in theory before it actually performs the format. It will stay on 0 as long as it is thinking about it. If it has not told you it cannot format, leave it alone.

if u have to do it u must have atlest 512 mb ram and 2.ghz processor speed if u are not having these rewuirements hei buddy u have to sit on the hot iron till the formatting completes.
