*IF* Jesus existed?? My dear, you need to grab some history books. Jesus is an historical figure that is referenced in many secular writings. The Encyclopaedia Brittanica has over 20,000 words alone devoted to him. That's more than Buddha, Confucius or Napoleon Bonaparte!
The historicity of Christ is not questioned. Him being the Son of God is.
(For the record, I believe he is the Son of God and that he will return one day. He won't be placed in an asylum or anywhere else, for that matter. He won't be caught; he'll be doing the catching, as he comes to take his own home.)

He actually did exist. There was a person called Ishah (Jesus) and he was a preacher along side Samson and John the Baptist (there were about 6-7 preachers at that time)
If he was living in this century - his preachings would be lot more different to what he preached at that time. (Like Sai Baba) But definitely not what is in the Bible. Actually the Bible contains more of John's and Samson's teaching than of Jesus teachings.

following your train of thought...if jesus actually existed, the claims made about him in the bible would be true right.....so if he actually existed and if he came back to earth he would come in the manner he said he would right?.....which was with flashes of lightening and angles and the sun and the moon turning dark. i think if this is the case people will have no choice to believe in him.

he'd probably not be believed for a while, then people would come around. but given the prevalence of weapons in the world, i don't think he'd last long before someone opposed to the idea of him tried to take him out

Jesus did exist. there is written proof. whether he was the messiah, or not has not been proven. and yes, i agree, they'd lock him up somewhere. Or try.

i agree..people have seen visions of HIM...HE is ALIVE and HE is coming Back ... :-)
