Has anyone noticed that almost all store brand colas taste like Coke? Is it because Coke is more popular or what?

Pepsi-Cola VS Coca-Cola again here..
Usually there's a generic for most every prominant brand/flavor of cola but when it comes to the straight up cola there's only one variety of COLA and that's... you guessed it... plain old fricken COLA.
Pepsi and Coke are very different, yet not so much... I think many would agree that Pepsi tastes like a duller, flatter Coke, and since the generic colas arn't quite up to par in their flavoring their cola usually tastes like something in between Coke and Pepsi, leaning a little more towards one or the other because they'll have the basic cola taste down, but it'll usually be less intense than Coke, and usually always more punchy than Pepsi because of the typical generic style of having a lack of true subtlety in taste unless the flavor is virtually nonexistant.

yes coke is popular the reason store brand colas taste like coke is b-cuz there trying 2 steal the ingredients but nobody knows it only the real coke cola company..

I have tried different generic colas and don't think they taste anything like regular coke.

I am actually a pepsi drinker. And yes off brand cola's taste weird to me. I will drink nothing at all than drink a cola!
