I'm so sorry for your loss. Please consider the following advice from a website I often use for medical advice.
According to www.webmd.com:
"Medicine. During the initial days of grief, anxiety or sleeplessness can make it difficult to function. If you suffer more than a few days of severe agitation, talk to your health professional about whether a short-term prescription sedative medicine can help you. (Health professionals disagree about the usefulness of medicines for people who are grieving; some health professionals believe that giving medicines for anxiety or sleep may hinder the ability to grieve.)
Counseling. If you find that obstacles to grieving are making it difficult to function after a loss, talk to a grief counselor, attend a bereavement support group, or both. Counseling and support groups can also help you work through unresolved grief from a past loss."

I am sorry for your loss. It is true , time will heal your wound but meanwhile certain things might be able to lessen your tension.
Proper exercises will help. See a family therapist if u need it.
Everyone of us need to go thru it one day to grieve for the loss of love it.

Time heals all wounds. Walk...talk to relatives...try and be away from people if you need that...surround yourself with friends if that helps. Grief is a process that takes different amounts of time for different people. You don't get to skip steps in the process...
I'm sorry for your loss.

I find lavender very calming. It's a soporific, so just breathing in the scent can calm you down. I hope you're ok, if not now, in the future. Take care.

Depends on what kind of stress you are expierencing. I think, for your situation (coping with grief, loss), you should take Wellebutrin.
