Depends on Syria and Iran. They have a mutual defense pact. If Israel accidentally or purposely attacks Syria, I think Iran will intervene. I wouldn't be suprised to see something blow up inside Syria, and the Syrian government blame Israel for it in order to start a larger conflict. That will cause all sorts of problems in the area and it could get very ugly, especially since Iran will have to go over and/or around US military units in order to attack Israel. I don't see that going over very well since there is no direct route Iran can take to get into the area and fight without involving several other nations. I think Iran is hopeing, waiting ever so patiently so that they can get into the fight. They need a legitimate reason to jump into the fray without bringing the US and international communities military might down on them. Iran may talk a big game, but they know they are really no match for the US military. Their only hope is to rally other Arab nations to their cause, and Israel attacking a legitimate arab government, and not a terrorist organization, is all they might need.

Right now the only real card Iran is holding is that China and Russia are not allowing sanctions at the level the rest of the world wants. Iranian aircraft and missiles flying over US military units in Iraq would negate any stance that either China or Russia could come up with to keep the US from involing itself with Iran. And the US would be fully justified.

No.

Although TV makes this look like a big deal, and although the personal stories of tragedy are devastating to the victims and to viewers, there is not going to be large scale war in Lebanon.

Arabs and Persians will continue to hate Jews until kingdom come.

I think it is less about religion than something in the waters of the Middle East. People have been hating each other there since the dawn of civilization and before the appearance of both these groups.

No, because it's not about relgions. It may lead to another war between Israel and the Arab League, but I doubt that. Israel is backed by the West, and they have already won such a war anyway. So I guess the consequence will be more terror attacks against Israel.

genuinely, what occurs is that the antichrist arises and whilst he makes a peace treaty with Israel, even the u . s . a . will start to declare peace peace. This peace treaty will incorporate allowing Israel to rebuild the temple and whilst the antichrist sees that the temple worship could desire to erode his administration he acquires the fake prophet and after he breaks his peace treaty and captures Israel, he and the fake prophet set up an idol in Jerusalem and whilst the human beings see the Satanic signs and indications they initiate their very own faith. in spite of the shown fact that, whilst the antichrist breaks the peace treaty with Israel, wars wreck out and on the time the antichrist and the fake prophet are accumulating the international locations to Har-magedon, they be sure to and do militarily defeat the u . s . a .. it is immediately that Jesus returns and throws the antichrist and the fake prophet interior the lake of fire and starts reigning from Jerusalem for a one thousand years.
