2 dollars are not a risk, or maybe a very small one. I have drunk a lot of 2-buck jugs; they were quite good. Try Golden Gates Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay or Charles Shaw.

I wouldn't call 2 bucks a risk. I would say that your personal taste is different than everyone else's, so jump in head first and buy the stuff. TWO dollars.. I mean come on!!

"Two Buck Chuck" from Trader's Joe's was pretty good. I mean for a $2 wine it was o.k. The "Five Buck Phil" is a little better though.

I've never had a chance to taste it. But being a wine distributor, I would imagine that it wouldn't be a good wine at $2.00.
[ yellow tail ] at $6-$7 is a far better value --- relatively cheap and yet tastes pretty good.

The ones from Trader Joes are not bad. Tasted better than some expensive wines.
Have a blind tasting party with your friends and see what they think. When all else fails, you will have a good time trying them.

It depends how much you know about wine. If you know and drink a lot, then you aren't going to like it. If you don't know about wine and don't drink a lot, you may like it.
