I don't know exactly what it is that causes this for you however since you go to the doctor and get medicine this is a good topical treatment that works great. Get some tea tree oil or lavender oil and put one or two drops on your toothpaste and brush as usual twice a day, rinse and don't eat or drink anything for at least 30 minutes after-wards. This clears up mouth thrush and has worked on my 2 friends who have had cancer and got sores from chemo and radiation therapy. If this doesn't clear it up within a week add 5 drops tea tree oil to 2 tbsp vodka and 2 ounces water, rinse three times a day at least and if this doesn't work then go back to the doctor and tell him all about it. That is what he gets paid for.

Sorry to hear you have this problem. I have had the same problems as well in the past. You need to gargle with salt water 3 times a day and after meals. Do this for about a week and it should heal up by then. Also avoid hot and spicy food and foods containing acids like vinegars. Drinking pure Whole White Milk should also help ease the pain. Do not irritate it much. HOPE YOU GET BETTER SOON AND I HOPE THIS HAS HELPED YOU.
Good Luck,

Ulcers in the mouth are very painful. It is very true that ulcers can be caused by B12 deficiency, but also Zinc, Iron, Folate Ferritin and Magnesium. But this is unlikely if it only occurs periodically. Women who gets mouth ulceration usually state that they appear with their monthly cycle (and this maybe the cause of the iron deficiency). When prescribing for ulcerations, we always try and avoid the use of oral steroid and gels like Bonjella, as this slows down the healing process. Cholorhexidine Digluconate (Corsodyl) works very well or if you are into alternative therapies Propylis (bees wax) from health food shops and apply as a gel over the area has been proven to cut the healing time of ulcers to 2 days. Hope this helps.

Look for the cause , Some ulcers are caused by a lack of vitamins ... so try a good mulit vitamin and see if that helps.
Also keep your mouth as clean as possible , A good mouth wash or salt and water works well.
Hope this helps.

Try gargling with Listerine on a regular basis...it will burn really bad but then it will be numb. It really does help...I get them all the time.

Why haven't you gone to a doctor yet? It may not be regular sores, if regular meds don't get rid of it.
