Dry fingers/cuticles?

Question

This is kind of weird but I've always had dry hands (during the winter mostly) but my fingers and cuticles have always been dry and not the best looking. I don't do construction or anything. My girlfriend also thinks they're kind of gross so what can I do about it?

I don't want to get a manicure or anything but is there some type of oil or lotion (or like vitamin E) that I can use? Hand moisturizer never worked for me.

the perfect home made moisturiser; that's most effective and is something i use it myself since years is,
a 3:1 ratio of glycerine with rose water and to this add the juice of two lemons (freshly squeezed) and a capsule of vitamin A squuezed and added to this solutin.
shake well and apply generously on any of the areas of dry skin,following a rinse,i mean after shower or hand wash & a pat dry when the skin still has some moisture.rub gently till skin absorbs it.You'll see yourself that your dry skin turns to softer notes in hardly any time.do so three to four times a day.and always after a hand wash.

Cuticle Cream, vitamine E capsules...try eating more fleshy fish. All good treatments. My son works in the food industry and has the same problem because of the sanitizer at work. He swears by Bath and Body Works, Lay it on Thick...Tru Blue Spa line...really moisterizes.

yOu might just need to hydrate. DRINK more water. STAY away from sodas/high fructose JUICEs for a week. and focus on waters. NO flavored water. Dry lips is the number on sign. CHAPPED lips-i mean.

you should try corona. I know it sounds weird and it's not the Mexican beer. You use it on cows. It doesn't smell very good honestly but if you rub it on your hands and then put some surgical gloves on over night your hands will be super smooth by in the morning.

You can buy glicerine and apply it before you go to bed, then wear cotton gloves while you are sleeping.
