try 2 avoid using ur mums household iron ive been told its not good 4 the health of ur hair, spend the money n buy a straightener, make sure itis a ceramic 1 as these work alot better. I straighten my hair once a week & from the day i straighten it 2 the day its due 2 b washed its still as straight as day 1, i only spend $80 Aus on my straightener, that was 3 or so yrs ago, there come down in price alot since then. & just 4 the record i reckon straight hair looks sexy more then curly!

They have like a gel that you should buy that helps straighten your hair put some of that in blow dry your hair or air dry and then use a straightener or even a curling iron will work and just take chunks of your hair not too much cuz it just won't work right and just run the straightner around it, it's not to difficult and once you get used to it it will be a peice of cake. Ceramic hair straightners are the best. They work better and they don't destroy your hair as much as other ones. Also your gonna be killing the $hit out of your hair so I recommend doing a hot oil treatment on your hair every few weeks or so depending on how much crap you do to it. V05 makes hot oil treatments just do it at home! Good Luck
