put down the cigarettes. I smoke too, and its a nasty habit. But if it makes the difference between feeding your children or not, I should not even have to answer this question for you. TAKE CARE of your family, first and always first....

is this a brand of sarcasm? Pretty good. Very few people who smoke can give it up. The spouse shouldn't have married if they didn't like having a smoker.

It is giving the kids a poor future though, healthwise.

if you live in poverty, then you would need to give up smoking because your family will need the money and its bad for you and your family. it can cause a health problom for you or your children and you dont want that.

i'd say A. i have no idea how hard quitting smoking is, but i'd feel terrible knowing that a habit i'd do better without was part of the reason my family was starving

give up smoking is the logical answer, but it's not that simple. Smoking is an addiction and addictions are hard to kick.

I would sell my wife and children and buy more cigarettes. I mean, let's be realistic...... Besides - you cannot smoke people.
