My two year old son has athsma. My mother in-law said that my son has athsma because I wash his head daily. That cause cold and athsma.
I myself has severe athsma in my childhood but mine is not about cold, I can`t tolerate with dust or smoke. Is it true that washing head daily cause athsma too?

If his asthma is due to seasonal allergies you want to wash his hair everyday. Whatever outside bothers him settles on his hair, eyebrows and eyelashes and can make the situation worse. Think about it... if this is the case when you lay him down at night he then has his face right in it.

I get tired of my mother and mother-in-law always telling me what I do wrong and how sick my kids are. When my kids get a little whiny(so can I sometimes) they will insist they are sick. It makes me sick! Sorry to vent.

Listen to your instinct you are his mother!

Being a hairstylist myself that is the most rediculous thing i have ever heard. Athsma comes from diffferent things but if washing your head every was why he got it then more than half of the country would be plaged with asthma. so kids have it and some dont my son has asthma for no reason at all he isnt around smoke or anything he is just sensitive so just relax most kids grow out of it anyways at that age it might just be temporary.
