Religion is dangerous these days. Sure you have your devout Christians and your good Muslims but its the people who take control of people that really ruin it.
And with science as well as people thinking for themselves these days, Religion is starting to fade away. Hardly any children have faith these days.
If you think about it, Religion comes from YOUR heart, its not complicated unless you think it is. Make your own decisions, Christianity was not meant to be followed down to the last word, that only happens for control which isnt Christianity.
Remember, your religion comes from within, not from without. The bible is to help you, not just a rule book!
P.S. see what I mean by lack of faith, look at your other answers from those people. They call you an idiot, but who is the real idiot?

I think it is partly because mankind want to do their "own thing" Christians have been discriminated against and persecuted throughout history. Read the Bible and it is easy to see that Christians suffered. Jesus Himself did nothing wrong, in fact He helped people and told the truth. What did He get for it? Tortured-crucified. Mankind doesn't seem to want to abide by rules and regulations such as the ten commandments etc.. Listen or read the news on any given day- murder, theft, lies, rape, ...I could go on, but these are all sinful, all acts against our fellow man, against society, and in violation of what God desires that a person does or doesn't do Society seems to say, have sex whenever and with whoever, Christianity says otherwise. Man says steal if you can get away with it, God tells us not to steal, Man says put yourself first, God says to think of others first. Man says get even, God stands for peace and equality. Some people don't accept or believe in God/Christ for many reasons,so they don't seem to accept a person that has the word CHRISTian as the way they believe.. Some may feel that being a Christian is far too confining. They may feel "how can you believe in something like that? It may seem too far fetched, a fairy tale, impossible to believe, or too "goody two shoes." To some Christianity might come across like "I'm better than you" when in reality, that is not the case at all..People have put their trust in themselves and not in God.

Simple - Because we live in a society that is so fast moving and advanced. To keep up with the pace, you need to forget the Bible and start moving. If you start questioning the world, it is you who will always be left behind because the world doesn't wait for you.
People who have realized don't have this problem - may be it's time for you to move on.
I am not telling you not to be a Christian - but try to do everything in moderate, after all the Bible is a manipulated document and you cannot trust everything in there.

Probably because when it started if you question the word of the catholic church they called you a heretic and burned you at the stake or killed you some other pleasant way. Now that kind of thing is kind of a no-no so people have the opportunity to have free thought without oppression. Not to sound like a jerk but Christianity and it's branches has been one of the most oppressive forces in our history BUT not because the religion is bad by nature, although I do disagree with 90% of it, but because so many people have twisted it to gain personal profit. I don't believe in God but I do think Jesus was a good person that he would be pretty disappointed in what has been done in the name of "the lord".

Because society doesn't want any rules. People want to do what they want, say what they want and not accept any responsibilities for their actions. Christianity is actually quite simple, do good, have faith, believe, and live righteously, and you have nothing to fear. Society in itself complicates life...always trying to justify their actions, coming up with yet another lie to cover the last one....oh what a web we weave when we first practice to deceive!!

Thanks For Your Question :)
Well it seems that people are escaping from Christianity these days...converting to Scientology, Buddhism, Islam....etc
Christianity came to certain people at a certain time
Jesus said "I only came to the lost sheep of Israel" not to the whole world and there was an argue to translate the bible to several language because of that statement

Christians today lost track on the way. Varying leaders with misguiding doctrines makes the life of their lambs confusing. Leaders are blind and so the disciples suffering.

It is complicated because Christians are goal oriented and that does not help when they try to accept every other belief that may not be so organized.

Because these are the end times.
There is a war going on.
Between good and evil.
The devil knows his time is short.
He never said it would be easy.
The trumpets are sounding.
Listen closely.
