kx_wx has some good tips also i tried a herbal product called calms forte it helped for a while but tif it continues for a long time your body may be in a cycle it needs helping getting out of my doctor put me on ambien cr for awhile and i am finally starting to get back to sleeping normal

get ready for bed an hour earlier...take your time through your nightly routine.
no caffeine after 1800 (6pm) - that means no chocolate.
...and my favorite...stretch before bed.
Wierd I know...but it really helps
