If you plant the bird seeds in a bird feeder they will.

You aren't patient enough. Give it a little more time, the seeds will grow sprouts, the sprouts will grow into little plants, the little plants will grow into bigger plants, and eventually become trees. The birds grow in the trees that grow from the seeds.
