My nephew is 33 and I'm at loss to answer this, and he complains women his own age don't like him and gets annoyed when 16 year olds try to pick him up. Understandably, he's annoyed women his age group don't seem interested in him. He keeps on saying "why 16 year olds I don't want them but they don't listen" and I even saw it happen from a distance once.
If there are any psychologists or experts in human behaviour, can you come up with a plausible reason why a 16 year old would choose my much older nephew (who's twice their bloody age) instead of boys THEIR age like they should? And the best thing for him to say so that they will leave him alone?

the 16 year old girls are probably seeing themselves as your nephew's equal...if he is hip and attractive and looks young for his age, it's no wonder the girls would be attracted to him and girls his age wouldn't. most girls his age (i'm about his age) don't want to hook up with a guy who is all into his appearance and car and making himself look like a good catch or out clubbing. i know when i was 16 and there was a hot guy that seemed to be where the teenage action was, i was into him...they have money, cars, their own place, etc...and now that i am that age, i am attracted to totally different things...your nephew is probably just a very late bloomer.

He probably doesn't look his age or act it (in a good way), so they see him as a peer instead of an adult. Also, if they know his age, they probably think he knows how to treat them better than kids their own age. He just needs to be firm and let them know he's not interested.

She finds him more protective than her own parents or elders , and teenagers don't know how to start a subject ., but advisable , tell your nephew , do not break heart of the young child and should behave himself to get confidence & respect from the child , do not abuse and refrain to take advantage .
