Call a few vets in your area & ask them. There MIGHT be one that would do it for free or reasonable rate.

Neutered/Spayed

LOL @ "nuttered". It's actually spelled "neutered", but "nuttered" makes more sense considering what the surgery entails. You could try your local animal shelter. also, some vets might do it for free. I'd call around places in your area and if they tell you they don't do it, just ask if they know anyplace that might. Good for you for trying to get kitty fixed- it's so important to control the pet population. Good luck!

You can contact your local Human Society, ASPCA, Animal Control or Best Friends Animal Sanctuary at www.bestfriends.org They should have access to grants or vets that give discounts to low income families. PETA may also have access to no-cost or low-cost spay/neuter care. Alley Cat Allies may also be able to help you.

No, unless you get some kind of financial help from the governement, like disability, then you can apply for a special program at the SPCA and it would be free.

Try seeing if you have a Feral Cat agency in your area...they usually have TONS of resources available- if not for free, at a huge discount!
