i made my own baby food. i never fed my sons store bought food. my sons are lean but they are not underweight. they may not be fat but they are active and this is nutritious. try boiling half a cup of rice, one chicken breast(small), a potato(small),a cup of papaya or other vegetables , a teaspoon of edible oil, a pinch of salt. boil it for 30 minutes or until everything is boiled. then put it in a blender and blend. give this to the kids. spoon feed them. it might be difficult cause they wont have it first but it is nutritious. you can add lentils, other veggies too. but slowly and in small quantities.

If she's only a little bit under weight, don't worry about it at all. As long as she has a healthy diet she should be fine.
I have five children and at one time or other they all were a bit under weight.
The first three just took after their dad and had a high metabolism and were just small, if it's hereditary, no problem.
My forth had yellow jaundice very badly at first and was slow taking off, she's quite plump now at three.
And my last one had reflux and was loosing weight for awhile. She threw up a lot. I continued to breast feed her, but mixed goats milk, formula, and cereal in a bottle to supplement her till she stopped throwing up at about a year old. I introduced her to soft foods a little along. She's fine now, small, but that's the hereditary factor again.
It's not normally recommended to put cereal in a bottle, but it helped weigh down the milk. And the Doctor was OK with it.
It doesn't sound like your girl has any problems. So I'd just feed her like you normally would. Just put good healthy food in front her, at least a couple things that are her favorites, and if she eats it, good, if not, she's not hungry.
And don't worry about her unless the doctor says there's something to worry about.
Do something nice for a stranger today. And tell them to pass it forward.
Good life to you.

hi,
try giving her the same food that u eat , your veggies and chicken, fish etc, fruits and yogurt are also very good for the growing child. Maybe she Will resist in the beginning but keep trying till she starts taking the food. The best time is during your family meal watching the other family members eat may encourage her.
All the best.

Continue to feed her healthy foods, and dont over do it feed her when you think she should eat .she is still you know a baby, and she will be fine plus you say shes active, dont give her to much to eat just because then you"ll have to worry about her being over weight.
