It could be acid reflux. My baby was a spitter after every meal until he was about 7 months old and then it just stopped. I'd check with your doctor, but my Doctor told me it was only a problrm if he started losing weight or became lethargic. There is medication for babies if it gets that severe. It's pretty common.

One thing which wasn't suggeted yet is a burp half way through the meal. He's probably eating a little more now and there's basicly food on top of an air bubble the all comes out together. It's worth a try, but certainly check into other formulas soy or non-lactose according to the doctor. Good luck

My baby does that too. What I find that works best for him is when I burp him against my chest, I just keep him in that position for a good half hour or so. It won't completely get rid of his spitting up, but it does minimize it. Also, sometimes it helps to lay him on his tummy, and rub his back after I burp him. Mylicon is also good, I've found it gets rid of gas and he spits up less when I give it to him.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to make it stop completely. But there's several things you can do to help. Hope something works for you!
(And don't worry about it being "reflux" like everyone's saying, every pediatrician will tell you spitting up, even excessively, is completely normal.)

Maybe he needs to be switched to a different milk? Or he may be ready for rice cereal. My ped. actually recommended putting cereal in my 2mo. olds bottle to keep him from spitting up so much. I had never heard of that helping, but he was right! It thickens it up so that it settles in the belly better. My baby hardly ever spits up now that we put cereal in the bottle. Everyone's different, try different things and see what works best for your baby. Good luck

Try switching to soy based formula. Mine did that too. We switched him and he never had a problem. Also, make sure to put a little rice pablum in his first bottle of the morning. Gives his stomach something to 'chew' on.

My son had that problem and turns out he was just over eating . Babys will eat until the cows come home. so try giving him a few less ounces and see if it helps.

OK, Your baby just may be lactose intolerable;e
or it may just be throw up.
Please set an appt. with the baby pedo.
He may just be lactose intolerable, it is no big deal, you may have to change your formula, that's all.

Call his pediatrician. It could be that you're just feeding him too much. Sometimes, when babies come out of growth spurts, they don't need to eat as much and throw up what they don't have room for.
