There is nothing wrong seriously.
The only problem is that since he/sheis your cousin, you are somehow blood-related and sharing similar genes. This is no good, coz when 2 people with similar genes get married and have a child, they have very high chance of getting an unhealthy and even mutated baby, Th reason is that when genes are close, the hiding problems will all come out. Only 2 people who have different genes(who are not blood-related) can have healthy baby.
That's why it is not recommended to marry a cousin or any one who has a blood relationship with u. Nothing is wrong, but your child will be affected.
My bf's parents are in fact cousins. That's why he is not very healthy and very thin and sometimes get sick. Lol

If no other reason than genetics. Have you ever seen the movie "Deliverance"? You need to. That is the justification as to why you dont marry a relative or even reproduce with a relative. Jerry Lee Lewis married his cousin and look at him; God punished him and he died unexpectedly. Watch the movie and think about it again and you will know then if it is right or wrong.

Yes I think it is wrong because over time it starts to lead to deformities. There is a large family in Utah that only marries inside the family, and there have been many children born with abnormaly short arms, missing limbs, etc. Also I think family should be family, and when you get together with family you celebrate christmas and watch movies and eat dinners, not make out and get married. Unless you''re from Texas or Alabama, Arkansas, it''s okay there. Just kidding

It is risky to marry a first cousin and even a second if it has happened generation to generation. When the gene pool is this shallow the quality of the children deteriorated. You will start to see deformities and retardation. In a number of places it is illegal to marry a first cousin for these reasons.

A lot of people in the U.S. would say that it is wrong. It has been illegal before (I don't think it is anymore) because of concerns of birth defects because of the family genes being too close. I personally would never marry a cousin because I grew up with them and see them as family much like a brother or sister and just could never view a cousin in a romantic light. If someone else chooses to marry their cousin, that's fine, albeit strange to me because of my culture.

In some countries and cultures it's considered wrong.

As I'm not a religious person, the only reservations I have about such a close family connection is the possibility of birth defects resulting from 'in-breeding', and I look upon my own cousins more like brothers and sisters.

A cousin is considered immediate family so yes. Your too close in relation... would you marry your sister? Same concept. Its not good to in breed. Plus there are side effects in your children. They have a lot higher chance of retardation or physical defects... Thats why a lot of royal families got screwed up... in breeding.

Genetically speaking, first cousins run risks of inbreeding rare genetic disorders. It's generally considered less of a concern for second cousins and further removed relatives.

FOR 2 Reasons it sounds wrong perception :::

1. Genetic problems may arise.

2. Marriage should be taken as to expand our circle / relations / friends / well wishers. So must marry unknown ..kindaof. Today we need to expand our vision / circle to survive effectively.

What ya say Bro ???

It causes problems when you have children because there's a higher chance of the child having a genetic disease. If you're taking away the moral issue of it, there are also biological reasons behind it that also forbids inter-family marriage or incestial marriage.
