I live in San Diego which had the moniker of AMERICA'S FINEST CITY due to the climate and attractions we have to offer.
In addition to the World Famous San Diego Zoo (and her sister park, The San Diego Wild Animal Park) and Sea World San Diego, we have nice beaches, we are within an hour or two of the mountians and the deserts and San Diego is the number 2 vacation destination in the United States - Behind Hawaii.
