Usually I just put a little ice cream and milk int the blender and then throw in all the fruits I have that might make a good combo. They always end up tasting good. I'd suggest you buy bananas, and frozen fruits like strawberries.

My favourite smoothie recipe is this:

2 Nectarines
1 Large orange
1/2 a pink grapefruit

take the skins off the oranges and grapefruit and juice them.
take the stones from the nectarines.
Put the juice and nectarines in a blender with a handfull of ice..
Voila! Yummy!

Hell Yeah,
1 cup fat free milk or apple juice
1 container mixed berries Dannon Yogurt
1 frozen banana
strawberries, blackberries, mango whatever fruit you like
keep it simple, a good trick is to freeze the fruit, cut it into small pieces, acts like ice cubes and makes the smoothie bad ***

Throw 2 handfuls of strawberries, 1 banana, some ice cubes, half a pineapple and whizz away in a processor, not a juicer (as it will only count as 1 of your 5 a day). Scrummy and very healthy.

regular banana or chocolate banana smoothies are the bomb! you need the banana smoothie mix you can get in a major grocery store like Giant Eagle, or Tops, or Super-K. you need milk, bananas, and the mix, and you use like 8 regular size ice cubes. you have to try it to know what i am talking about

i start with chopped ginger and carrot, and hard fruits such as apple
blend with apple, orange or whatever juice you like
any bananas (or other friut) going ripe are frozen whole to be peeled and added when needed
then add yogurt and soft fruits (any about the house) + honey, blend
super healthy start to the day or anytime, and easy way to get 5 a day RDA
