Eat a well balanced diet consisting of 60% carbos, 20% fats, and 20% protein. Also at least 5 days a week perform some kind of calorie burning exercise, preferably aerobics if your back and knees are healthy. If your back or knees are not healthy, join your local health club that has water aerobics and go at least 3 times a week. Try to keep your calorie count at not going over 1400 calories consisting of the above balanced diet. Drink at least 8 glasses of water. Never fast as you starve your muscles and organ systems, and never fail to eat breakfast. Breakfast stands for break fast, which means your body is hungry for calories, and you need that to get started. It's also best not to eat after 6:00 P.M. as what you eat after that is stored as fat. Think healthy thoughts and stay off the scales. Scales only tell you how much your body weighs, and not how much body fat you have. You will start shrinking very soon and the scales won't show shrinkage-muscle weighs more than fat and you will quit your weight loss program, so don't set yourself up. You clothing size will get smaller and it won't show on the scales also.

It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Plus click on "Pure Water" to make sure the water you drink doesn't hurt you. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

I have recently lost 32 lbs. I did it by totally changing how I eat. I don't like to call it a diet as a diet is temporary and once you go back to your old style of eating you gain the weight back. Eating healthy and low calorie and low carb foods in moderation will help you loose weight.
Getting exercise is important to. Remember you don't need to exercise to get exercise. You just need to move your body and get the blood flowing. Symple things will make a difference. Like when you go to the store, park in the back and walk up. When you put away laundry or grocerys, put them in one room and put away one item at a time, put a lively step to it. When alone(other wise people will laugh at you lol) do a little wiggle move your hips and legs. Things like this may not seem like much but it can make a major difference. After a while you will need to add some weight training in to help mold the body into shape, but at first you need to just get up and move.
And don't be hard or easy on yourself. Stay in the middle. If you break down one day and have a tripple sunday with extra sprinkle after you jumbo burger with large fries and a coke don't be to hard on yourself, but don't say ok I messed up I give up. Just start over. You may need to start over sever times, but keep at it. You can do it. Good luck!

Google WeightWatchers. It's helped me lose about 20 lbs in 4 months, and I've maintained the weight with a good diet and excercise.

Reduce ur diet each day lil by little. To plenty of exercises. Go to a gym and do aerobics. Avoid all kinds of fatty food, Cabohydrates, Ice Creams, Chocaltes and any junk food including pizza. Try to eat as much as vegetables u can but don't eat too much fruits because it contains alot of sucrose(especially in bananas). To control your moth from eating try chewing a gum every time and try to attend to some work.

try to find out what kind of foods you are eating. if you get a lot of fat in your diet focus on cutting that out. just by not drinking soda you can cut a lot of extra sugars that are just stored in your body.
the safest way to loose weight is to eat healthier and increase your activities. basically, watch out for things with a lot of sugar or fat (even low fat items can be bad for you because of the chemicals in them) and stick to whole wheat breads and other carbs.
as far as excersize goes, if you are doing it already look at your workout to see if it is effective. riding a sitting bike in a gym is not that effective for most people. try machines that you stand and use to get a more overall workout or go outside and run or something similar. whatever you do, if you are not active right now, be careful and ease into a workout program.

What you need to do is to eat better, watch out how many carbs you are consuming. Eat more lean meats, fruits and vegetables. Do a websearch on google or dogpile.com and type in low calorie diets and you will be amazed at the results. Good luck to you!!
