My mom is resident alien in the states and she submitted the papers in 2000, when am I getting my visa, and in the meantime, can I visit my mom, this has been a pain in the butt.

they wont give me any information (immigration dept) so please people share your knowledge with me

Under what category did your mother petition for you? Your category is probably either F2 or F3. Here are the web pages to find your catgory, and to find your priority date:

By the way, since it was your mother who chose to leave you and live in the US, it is her responsibility that you are separated. And planes fly both ways.

All you simply do is fill out an application for a visa and it should be delvered to you... that's how it works in australia
