Please let me know what to do, is there a known cause for this? or is he just scared of something. he eats well, drinks, runs around etc but has his tail between his legs. Help!

a dog with it's tail between its legs, could be a symptom of some kind of pain. best bet would be call your Vet in the morn and maybe have the dog checked out just to be sure.

Tail between legs, ur dog is scared, but tail between the legs always ur ***** should b examined by a vet... make it as soon as possible

Look under his tail. there may be a red area, as sign of irritation or infection. There may also be a burr under his tail, so you really need to see what is wrong.

Usually that is a sign of fear, being scared. But I agree with the others, you need to get the area underneath checked to see if there is something wrong.

my dog will get poop stuck in his hair under his tail.. its painful for the little guy. getting him groomed often helps prevent this.
