It's a beautiful 9/11 tribute to those who were rarely mentioned or thought of.

Response to A Muslim. Whoever you are, you are totally wrong about animals. They cannot take care of themselves but depend on the goodness and kindness of humans. I'm not saying there aren't other things we should consider, but these animals went into those areas with complete loyalty and trust, trying to find the "humans" in there that were still alive or that sadly died in this horrible tragedy. I, personally, would rather have a loyal companion such as these dogs are than someone human I can't trust.

Our chat group. Nottingham Afghan Training Club, raised money and sent boots to these dogs, as we heard that their feet were bleeding, so on their off-time their feet were medicated and booted.
The club was UK based, but donations of money and boots came in from all European countries and Australia. They really did feel America's pain.

Mr. Muslim..these very same dogs were flown in to search and rescue in several Muslim nations over the last few years of Tsunamis and Earthquakes... These dogs are not bigots, nor do they know any cultural boundaries..... They only know to search and to serve.

No other country has such a force of rescue dogs, so these dogs travel the World. You will see them on the World news time after time.

That was beautiful and you are right very little was ever mentioned about these heroes.

As for AMuslim if you were trapped in an unstable building, who do you think would come in and save your life. A muslim who claims to be your friend or a k-9 rescue who has never met you.

I would bet on the k-9 rescue for he is not in it for an award or recognition.

I think we should think about dying children in the Arab world before thinking about rewarding animals! right ? we should respect humans before respecting animals that can live by their own.
