The guys who spit roasted a pig brought about 4 CASES or BLUE RIBBON beer to keep THROWING IT ON the pig as it slowly turned. This was the tastiest tenderloin I've ever had! SO yes.. it can be a good thing depending on what you are grilling.

Before I turned Vegetarian, I marinated steaks in Beer and Red wine, garlic powder, salt, pepper... Add GREAT flavor to steak BBQ. You should try it!

(A waste? ... Just buy more beer next time!)

... and, yes, you can poor more beer (and wine) on steaks while they're BBQing. :)
