Yes, they make me sick at my stomach besides they taste gross. I understand what you mean about "are you a freak?" People do act like there is something wrong with you if you don't eat onions.

You are not a total freak! Lots of people have allergies like to peanuts, strawberries and shellfish.
I am not allergic to onions, but I don't like them.

Lots of people have allergies to different foods, no big deal. I'm allergic to mint. I sneeze once every time I eat anything with mint. It's weird.
