Maximum total bandwidth for dial-up is 53K. Assuming you are using a 56K capable modem, then you are already equipped to best utilise your dial-up as it exists.

Since you have already stated that you want a FREE solution, you are out of luck.

If you decide to spend some money, there are two options.

1. Add a second modem, and configure your system to utilize this dual modem configuration. If you do not have a second phone line, you will have to add that as well.

2. Upgrade to DSL if it available in you area. You might need to upgrade the phone line, but if your lines are already comptable, you will just have to get the adaptor.

Generally it is limited.

You cannot speed up dial-up practically.
