NO Your body needs more like 1200 calories a day!!! If you are eating less, your body will begin to start shutting down. Which in turn will affect your organs!

It depends what kind of calories they are. You really shouldn't eat less than 1200 calories a day, though.

Are you a dwarf? Then no.

Eat more, please! Why do you eat so little? If it's because you just don't feel hungry, try being a little more active. Go swim a few laps and tell me if you aren't ravenous afterward!

If it's because you you don't want to gain weight, go see a dietician. With her help, work out a caloric intake that's healthy for you, and look at portion size etc. for foods you like. Get an idea of what you need to eat in order to get the healthy energy you need.

Just remember, a calorie is a measure of energy. Food is energy, fuel for your body. Doesn't have to be any more, and it's certainly nothing less. If you don't eat enough, your body will break down.

BTW - if your dietician makes you feel uncomfortable, FIND ANOTHER ONE! Food and eating habits can be highly personal and uncomfortable, so if you aren't feeling fully supported, work with somebody you feel understands you and your needs. This is WAY too imortant to play around with.

Blessed be!

Baggy clothes hide one's body and encourage lounging around. So no matter if you're relaxing at home, wear fitted clothes to maintain you on track.

A lot of people will tell you thats its very unhealthy and that you will put your body through starvation mode. However, I tend to eat around 1000 calories a day, and seem to be fine. It all depends on your height, age, weight, and gender. You could figure out your bmr to see how many calories you burn daily, or ask your doctor.
