On July 10, the Senate passed a bill to provide $100 million in microloans for the poorest regions of Mexico. It's stunning that Congress would vote to provide financial aid to wealthy Mexico when 47 U.S. states have severe budget deficits and federal red ink is the highest ever.

Anyone know?

I think when Our Government sends money--we should also demand accountability for every dollar on both sides.
I hear we send millions yearly. How come the people don't see it or do they? What is wrong that both the governments put out a report-of how it is spent? What is microloan?

According to the American Heritage Dictionary a microloan is..... ... A very small, often short-term loan made to an impoverished entrepreneur, as in an underdeveloped country. You always ask such great questions! A lot of people do see what our Government is doing and many dont, they either dont want to see, or they dont believe our Government has a private agenda, or theyre just kept too damn busy trying to keep above water to have time to pay attention to what is going on. Theres nothing wrong with both sides making reports on how the $$ is spent, its our right as Americans to know these things. Our Government has these reports Im sure but sharing with us would be too dangerous to their Agenda and would expose too much truth. They send others millions of $$$ all the time and have for years all in the name of Peace, progress and compassion for human kind. They play with our heart strings and use our so called "Christian" values to get away with it. These tactics keep us quiet and blind to the real facts. Readers and thinkers in this land know better. Heres a good question.........Why doesnt our Government give me a microloan? I am an impoverished entrepreneur afterall. LOL, Theyll say its because my credit is bad and yada yada, but the truth is, Im still (barely) a middle class citizen in this country according to their standards anyway. How about giving microloans to our homeless in this country? They are impoverished and Im sure many are entrepreneurs as well. hadenough......our middle class is doomed in this land and I know youre feeling it and seeing it happen all around you. Read about the Illuminatti if you havent already. We can demand all we want but theyre only going to give us what is suitable to thier Agenda my friend. Blessings to you and yours.

Well,if our government gives them so much money every year, then why do illegals still enter into the U.S every day?I know I just answered a question with a question,but.....now ya got me thinking.((((scratching head))))))),so if we are giving mexico money, then they should have enough for every one to live better there. But thats not true...they still don't live better there. So whats their government doing with the money? The people don't see that money, atleast not in the poorer regions where they don't even have indoor plumbing.I know thats true because many of my husbands family live that way.

And if we are such a rich country, why can't we provide for our own? There are millions of homeless americans that stay on public housing lists for years until they finally get approved. Not to mention our hungry and our elderly.

So,I know I've asked even more questions than you did and I'm supposed to answer yours, but I have no real idea what they do with the money or why we don't seem to gain either.Hmmmm....

our so called government sends money not only to Mexico, but to every other country thay can think of,and forget the people from there own country , who are starving and homeless.the only thing our goverment cares about is the rich, thay have pleanty of food to eat,a roof over ther heads, and nice ones at that ,shoes on there feet, that probley cost 200.00 a pair, and thoes fancey suites and dresses forthere wifes and kids.there is this eldery couple that i was talking to the other day,and thay live on a fixed income, because there medican cost so much, thay decided to file for food stamps,(keep in mind that these people has worked all ther lifes)the ill. dept. of public aid said thay make 2.00 tomuch to qualify for any asst.. so in other worsd its either thay by food and let there medican go,or by medican and let the food go . either way, do you think this couple will be able to servive?
and belive me thay arent the only ones out there that have this problem.with this so called ner medicar program,my medican went up from 6.00 amonth to 33.00 a month.i am a 63 year old i am disabled and cant work.i have rumotored arthrites, and i am a diabetic.i cant afford the right kinds of food that im sappost to eat,so each day im slowley dieing thanks to our wounder full goverment who would rather take care of other countrys and the people who live in them, befor thay help thereown people.

I honestly wish I had an answer for that excellent question. Lately I have been sensing that we the people have lost control somewhere of our country and that the true power lies in the hands of an elite group of congressmen who haven't a clue what the American people really need. It makes you think that there is little point in voting. Still, it sure beats living in Iraq, or one of the many other war ravaged countries.

The people don't see it. And yes the government should tell us how it is being spent every dime of it.
