Depends if you are male or female. I don't believe there is anything about females in the bible. But there are laws in the bible about males "Spilling their seed." This was also a time that science was lacking in a big way. It was thought that the whole baby was in the seed. The female was just an incubator. So wasting the seed was killing a child. This also is why a lot of Christians are against gays. But, unless you are Jewish, it shouldn't apply to you. If you believe in the New Testament, Jesus died for your sins and the laws in the beginning of the Old Testament are null and void. If you go by the laws there, you wouldn't eat pork, talk to a woman during her time of the month, or do any number of things they listed as a no-no. Sadly many Christians pick which laws they like and ignore the rest.

It is not a question about weather or not they can. It is edifying to Christ? And I think you know the answer to that question. See 1 Corinthians 10:23. Otherwise our bodies are temples for the holy spirit. We were given two specific commandments as Christians.
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
How does masturbation fit into this?

I'm confused, if Christians are masturbating, are anyone thinking about a person when doing that. Of course, so that means you still lusting and if they are married, you committing adultery in your heart.

I believe in the Old Testament, Allah say that "thou shalt not spill thy seed". Of course Christians can masturbate. as can anyone. Should they or will they? Depends on one's level of committment,i.e., willpower.
And could we skip the sarcastic remarks about the virgins? It's disrespectful, and is really being misinterpreted. A LOT...

No Christians can't, I'm sorry you'll go to hell honey. However, other religions such as Jews, Buddists and Hindus are allowed to masturbate and will not receive any kind of punishement. Muslims also are not allowed to masturbate. If they do, there will be no young virgins orgy waiting for him after death. I know, life sux uh?

yes. everyone has the ability to masturbate. ^_^
but i assume you mean is it a sin for christians to masturbate.
in that case, some believe it is and others dont. its hard to pin sins down on christians because there are so many different belief systems even within that 1 religion.

No, I think GOD physically STOPS their hands whenever they try... Of COURSE they can. It's a personal choice, just like it is for Buddhists, Athiests, Muslims, Druids, and my personal favorite, Scientologists (HA!).
ANYONE, can masturbate, it's just if they choose to or not.
