thank you all,i'm trying to toughen up i.e. no money ,no lifts no treats, i'm giving her a list of chores to do and if she does them i'll give her some money but only a minimal amount but i'm still scared that i'mstill doing something wrong, but anyway thanks to everyone.

im 14, and i dont get any money from my parents..actually, when they give me money to the movies, i dont spend it and give it back...maybe get her to work for her OWN money..then she willl fell the hardship and maybe conserve some more...chores might not be a good idea...make it like community service or someting..

shes 19 years old, dude. what your doing wrong is trying to treat her like a kid. shes a woman now, she can make her own decisions.

hey......if shes nineteen and she lives with you?? she needs to do stuff to help around the house...and it's good to get rewarded for doing something...today i weeded the flower bed and i got a day of doing nothing!
