You can get them on ebay for around $120.00 so I wouldn't ask for anything more than that.

Dude, your camera was worthless. Suck it up and take the opportunity to upgrade. Today, you can get the best non-SLR camera that money can buy plus a 1 GIG memory pro stick for about $800 including 2 day shipping.

Go search for a Sony DSC-R1 camera online to find the best price. This 10 megapixel camera will make you *** in your pants. Forget your old 5 megapixel camera (Fuji cameras suck in case you don't know). Get something good.

I'd say around $200
* $120 for the camera - eBay replacement value
* $45 for the memory card
* $15 for the pouch (if there was one)
* $20 for a pizza and a six pack... for the inconvenience.

Well it wouldnt be worth very much now...
Maybe ask for about US$100...then you could add a little extra cash and buy a new one.
I wouldnt buy a Fuji though (they use interpolation, which sucks)............Try Canon...at least 6MP minimum

if i were you i would make him pay for the new camera or give you at least half of the money you were looking to put toward a new camera.it's just the principle that it was yours and he lost it. if the shoe was on the other foot he would want you to replace his camera.
