If u really want to know why dont you honestly pray about it. Look into Gods word the Bible thats where he has put the answers .Dont listen to what people tell you as everyone has there own opinon or misconceptions about what happens when we die. Its plain and simple if you want to know about Gods plans look to his Word not to mans, for example there is a misconception that all good people go to heaven when they die, is this true ? . . lets cut through the man inspired philosophys so called christianity has adopted and see what Gods own word the bible says, ACTS 2: 34 King david was a good man in fact he was anointed of God yet the scriptures clearly state he did not go to heaven. more info? lexusbattlecat@yahoo.co.nz

True story:

when I met my best friends mom for the first time she couldn't stop staring at me. I was a bit uncomfortable because she didn't say a word. I asked my friend what was wrong and I went home.

The next day my friend came over and told me that her mom wanted to talk to me. She sat down with me and showed me a picture of what I thought was me but a bit older. The girl in the pic had the same hair color eye color same face structure. It was like looking at an older version of me. When I asked who she was she told me that, that was her sister at 18, and that on January 14 1975 she went with her friend on a road trip and lost control of her car and went over a cliff in the mountains.
She told me that when I walked through the door she thought she saw a ghost, because I was her splitting image. The weird part I was born on the same day she died.

Do I believe that her spirit was made for me maybe but I am believer that god works in mysterious ways.

We can see a picture of where spirits of the dead go in several Scriptures. Jesus was speaking of two men, one in a place of comfort, and the other in a place of torment. This place is known as hades, or the abode of the dead. In this place, there were two areas. One of them was for the righteous dead, and the other for the wicked dead. You can find the story in Luke 16:19-31.

After Jesus was crucified, He descended into hades, where He preached to the souls there. (I Peter 3:19-20) After this, He took those righteous who were captive in hades to heaven to be with Him and His Father. (Ephesians 4:8/Psalm 68:18)

Now, when someone who belongs to Christ dies, they are taken straight to heaven. As Paul says, "Therefore, we are always confident, and we know that as long as we are at home in this body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, then, and would prefer to be away from this body and to live with the Lord. So whether we are at home or away from home, our goal is to be pleasing to him." (II Corinthians 5:6-9)

At the end of days, when Jesus rules, He will judge the dead by what they did. Those whose sins have been forgiven by Him will only be judged for rewards. Those who are dead in their sins will be judged by what they did in their lives. The standard they will be measured by is the Ten Commandments. Since no one has the power to live by these, those who are judged by it, will suffer eternal torment, where, "Where the worm doesn't die, and the fire is not quenched." (Mark 9:44)

When a person dies, their spirit goes to God. Whether they go to await punishment, or their reward in heaven is only known by God, but there is no such thing as reincarnation.

SIMPLE. You will stand before god and he will judge you, if you are saved you will enter heaven, if not you will enter hell. The bible says "it is appointed for a man to die once then comes the judgement".

I be live in reincarnation. When you die you go to heaven and You return to earth if you would like to or need to. But if you are bad or ignorant you keep recycling through lives until you learn the lessons you need to. For me that would be hell. To have to eternally walk this earth in the physical realm. No Thanks!

Your soul roams the earth to guide others in life. Then you are reborn to learn more lessons. After your spirit learns all the lessons it is meant to learn, you are joined with the All.

Either of the these can happen if a spirit is "earth bound" if not realizing they're dead... or just refusing to move on to the next place.

Since there is no possible way to know, you get to form your own beliefs and opinions about the after-life!

The one thing that I love is one of the laws of physics:
"Energy can neither be created nor destroyed."

Gnaw on that for awhile.
