I almost stopped coming to this site because of ignorant people like that. Someone changed my mind. If we help one out of a million to find the Lord then we can put up with all their insensitive remarks.Don't you agree? Just pray for them and don't let them get you mad. That's what they want anyway. They want us to get mad and act as ugly as they do. Then they can criticize what they know nothing about. God Bless you and hang in there.

Excuse me but just because I am not a Christian doesn't mean I don't pray. Why should my prayers to my Gods be counted out? If someone needs help does it really matter what religious prayers are said? I understand someone being angry about someone saying no they wouldn't pray. I would be too. It is really uncalled for but that is my opinion. Don't close off all non-Christian prayers or non-Christians just because a few act like jerks.

Everybody has a the free will that God gave them. You should try not to let people upset you like that. Honestly she ran the risk of somebody like that saying what he did by putting a question of asking for prayer on a board like this. This is just for fun and it seems from what you said this lady was really reaching out for spiritual help. She probably should have talked to someone she knew or a spiritual leader.

The reason is because there is no age limit on this board.
Children who don't even fully understand what the question is, let alone prayer, feel the need to answer so they can get a few worthless points.
We should pray for them along with the woman in the hospital.

The people who answer questions that they know nothing about are just plain bored. Just the kids that vandalize vehicles and buildings. They say they were bored and had nothing else to do. My grandmother always said if you can't say anything nice about someone, don't say anything at all. The same can be said about this site. If you can't answer intelligently, don't answer at all. My prayers are with the lady in the hospital. God with you in you time of need.

I do think its wrong to kick anybody while there down. Its one thing to make a smart *** comment on "non serious" board, but if somebody is talking about something serious they deserve respect.
I do believe that many of the super harsh comments aren't made by ppl trying to be serious. They are probably sad lonely individuals that get picked on and or ignored irl, so what better way to get attention then to make an *** out of yourself online?
You do need to remember that this is a public forum, meaning ANYBODY can post. If you want to avoid stuff like that, I hate to say it, but don't post here. I mean if you really feel seriously about something, why would you put it online at a place that is known for smat asses?

I don't know, but this site is open to everyone from any walk of life. It might be best for prayer requests to be sent to a Christian website. It would be nice to see just answers from people who believe in a sense of spirituality, even if they don't belong to a particular denomination.

It was really shitty of the guy to answer the way he did... but did he say he was a non-believer?
The question can be asked: why don't christians respect non-christians...
Also, how do you know he was a non-believer, and are you certain of the knowledge he had?
I would be interested to see the question to put things in perspective...

I agree with you. But maybe you could think of it like I do. Maybe the reason they are on the spiritual and religious site is because they want to really believe and they are really curious about our heavenly Father. Why else would they keep coming back to this site? They know we are bullheaded and can't be budged from our faith, they say this themselves. So ignore the rude comments, they just want to learn the truth deep down.

When we post something on here we have to take into consideration that not every person in the world that will get on here and read these will be nice or considerate. Unfortunately we all have oppinions! The world is full of JERKS and we just have to learn how to deal with them. Doesn't mean we have to like what they say or do, how you deal with it is up to you! You really shouldn't let them get under your skin, that's all they wanted in the first place.
