Yes. Carrots contain Vitamin A and also Carotene(which is a form of this vitamin). Only eat them in moderate levels though because too much can be harmful to the eyes and body. Other dark yellow vegetables(sweet potatoes, melons) and dark green vegetables(spinach, parsley, etc.) also contain high amounts of Carotene. Another form of Vitamin A is Retinol which can be obtained from liver(yuck), eggs, whole milk and cheese.

The vitamin A does. But it doens't take much. In fact eat too many carrots, and the palms of your hands will become yellow. And all eskimos know that the amount of Vitamin A in Polar Bear liver will kill his dogs, so it is destroyed.... Too much of a good thing.

Yes they do (Ithink)! But don't eat too many of them because the carotine in the carrots will make your skin have a orange tint! At least that's what I've always been told!! Hope that helps...

i dont know but the are high in carotene and thats good for them ive heard , it wont repair the damage but provides the nutrients you need
