Hey! there r many a tools that can cut the soundclip from a song. The best I know is "Sound Forge". It not only lets cut the song but there are many filters too, that help u to modify and enhance the sound.

you have 2 ways to do it.
1. If you are using windows XP then Window Movie Maker can solve ur problem. u can customize ur audio, video and can make ur own movies.

2. Use CoolEdit Pro. U can create, edit and even extract high quality audio from video files. U can cut sounds from a song.

I've always used a program called MP3 Splitter & Joiner (aka MP3Mate) or you can try searching google for "mp3 splitter".

Best thing is Window Recorder is well. all you do is record the part you want then move your cursor where you want to delete. then using edit command delete forward from this point or backward from this point. you sud be fine

There is a free clipper available from download.com call "CDex". I use it a lot and it works well.
