We had been dating for about a month and a half, and then he met her at dance, and they became girlfriend/boyfriend in less than a week. She lives about 45 minutes away from him, and I live 2 minutes away from him. I see him every Sunday and Monday at church, but not her because she attends church in her area. We are still friends, but can you give me some advice as to how to act around him? We used to hold hands and hug, but we never kissed. I am not as hurt as I used to be, but still am hurting. How can I get over this, as I term it, "betrayal"?

Honey, i went thru the same thing. Only we where dating for two years. He told me that he met the "one" after knowing her for only two weeks.(they met on the Internet and met). To be honest i cried for about two weeks and kept on calling him. Finally people knocked some sense into me and i finally realized that he is a big jerk and not somebody i would want to be with anyways. If you can remain as friends, that's good, but know that it might get hard if he talks about her alot. I wish you luck.

Just act normal. Say hi to him. You don't want to seem too bitter and not speak to him, but keep the conversations short. It's obvious he just didn't like you much if he could meet this other girl and already be with her.

i dont think youu should give him the cold shoulder because thats childish but i think you should try to get over him and find someone whos loyal and true because if he would do something like that to you then he's not worth you crying over

I wouldn't even waste my time talking to him. He isn't even worth talking to. Just give him the cold shoulder when you see him.
