Yes... you have a second or thrid degree burn... can't really tell for sure fomr the description. Make sure you keep antibiotic ointment on it like the polysporin or neosporin and keep it covered. No swimming, but make sure it stays a bit moist for a few days. Mkae sure you change the bandage on it like twice a day and you should be fine. If you get anything but a clear to slightly yellowish drainage from it, make sure you go to the doctor. Also, watch out for it changing colors or getting an odor... both things you would need to go to the doctor for. Good luck and watch out... those irons are hot!!

Yes, put some polysporin and a band aid for two days. After two days, expose to air to dry it out and wait for any blister that may occur. DO NOT pop the blister, but wait until it pops on its own. Your body will do the work, don't rush exposing tender skin in the blister before it is ready. Let it pop on its own.

I burned the heck out of my finger inside the stove (at 400 degress F) and I put on some polysporin for two days and exposed it to air. I forgot about it and noticed the dried up skin peeled away a little bit and the skin underneath was not tender and sore.

Good luck!

When your skin comes off,That a nasty burn, even if it is small...With burns you want to clean the area with soap and water and then put your polysporin and cover it...Keep it cover until your burn has heal...You cover it to keep it from getting infected...

burns can get infected easily so it'd be prudent to use polysporin (antibiotic ointment) on it.

Be wary of keeping woulds covered too long. If wounds are not given a chance to dry out they are more likely to become infected. Also if you use a bandage, change it regularly since bacteria will grow on the bandage

Run cold water on it first...NOT ICE. A little Polsporin wouldn't hurt, but it's best to keep the area clean. You can bandage it loosely with damp (not soaking wet) gauze and change when the gauze dries. This is called a wet-to-dry dressing.
Do not put Petroleum Jelly on it. It could potentially be a breeding ground for bacteria.

I would maybe put some type of burn cream on it, and i would probably use MEDERMA for the scar healing.

To encourage skin renewal you should coat the area in lemon juice and then exfoliate with rock salt.

I think you mean neosporin
first clean it with soap and water, not too cold or not too hot
then maybe some neosporin or burn cream if you have any
