I would go to the website of the manufacturer and order a new part. No sense in hoping you got all of the mold and mistakenly getting the baby sick if it passes into the milk.

Breastmilk does not have antibiotic properties. It enables a number of your antibodies (component to our immune equipment's reaction to an infection, etc.) to pass contained in direction of the milk to the infant. mutually as this does furnish some risk-free practices to the infant, it does not kill micro organism, and can't inevitably avert an infection. in case you spotted mould interior the pump when you pumped, you may certainly anticipate that various the mould did get into the milk. I comprehend that breast milk is like liquid gold, and you by no potential want to waste it, yet for this reason throw it away. continuously extra desirable risk-free than sorry.

I would try soaking it in a mild bleach water mix for a while & then boil it again.
Q-tips or pipe cleaners also are great for hard to reach areas up inside things. I would still always boil or bleach it again after removing crud.

If there is mold, it is safet to get rid of it and buy a new one. Risky to try to wash it away. Babys health is really not worth trying to save a few dollars (father with 2 kids).
