The pet store has some great products to keep spraying males away. Also, cats do not like anything citrus. Try orange, lemon, and lime peels,.I also like the squirt gun too. Nail him with water if you're able to catch him in the act.

Stick garlic cloves down into that mulch, or begin growing some sets to 'plant' when the bulbs set on. Anything the cat doesn't like the smell of should discourage it. I think basil in one herb they don't like? You might check out here on the 'net just what herbs all smell disgusting, to cats, and try planting a few. None of them should hurt your flowers.

Is the cat neutered? If not, get your neighbor to have that done! It does help. Regardless, kitty needs to be kept in your neighbor's home, or at least, off your property as much as possible.

Do you have some time to spend in your garden, with a spray hose? Water gently squirted at him can make him leave, especially if you can leave the thing out, poised somehow, near your mulch so he doesn't really know when he might get soaked by the thing.

Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing!

Can't stop your cat peeing in the house? Then worry no more...

Pet stores carry cat repellents. Stay Away is a good one. That's a spray. There are also powdered and pellet forms. They work well.
You can also get sprinklers with a motion sensor on them. They squirt anything that moves. You can repel the cat and water your flower bed at the same time. Get them at pet stores, feed stores, and hardware stores.
Rent a live trap from the humane society. Trap the cat and take it in to them. There is a small fee involved with the rental and surrender of the cat but it might be worth it.

My mom has always used a homemade solution. Mix tabasco sauce, red pepper or chili powder, and water in a spray bottle and hose the stuff down. If he so much as sets a paw in the stuff the "hot" scent will get on him and he shouldn't be bothering it anymore.

Negative reinforcement. Heard this from a friend who has problem with neighbour dog. Go get yourself a toy water gun. Squirt him everytime you catch him doing it. Over period of time, it will get so condition that even the sound of your door opening or your footsteps is enough to send him for covers.
