I have noticed (being a red head) that guys are often way turned off by the hair color or way turned off by it. Why is that?

I am just the opposite. I love redheads. You wouldn't want a guy that is so shallow they won't date you just because of the color of your hair. Keep trying, there are plenty of guys that would love to give you a chance.

I'm not a guy and I'm not gay. But I think your question is strange only because I think women with red hair are so pretty. I know guys who will only date women with red hair!

It just because everyone believes that being a red head you probably have a temper to go along with it.... but guys that are, are just chicken and are not willing to take a chance!!!

Thats not true .. red heads are hot dude! if some guy gets "truned off by it" there.. weird... means theyre really shallow and not worth it. if its only becaus of the hair, they are like shallow beyond belief...

yeah i totally agree with you , that's why i dyed my hair . but if you are a natural red head then don't do it you will be unique because most of the girls are blonde. good luck with the guys.

Coz red heads get freckles easily. If you take care of your skin you'd be really hot like nicole kidman!

red hair isnt bad, but sometimes red heads tend to have freckles or really pale skin

I don't understand why someone would care what color your hair is.. It shouldn't matter what color your hair is or how tall or short you are or your weight... It should only be about the person you are...
