Toyota or Honda. Don't mess with anything European or American, unless you're buying a Truck.

Depends on what you want. Looking for something good on gas? Try a Honda Civic.
How much you willing to spend? Do you want the Mercedes Benz SLK500? Thats a sweet ride. Or just a Hyundai Elantra?
Are you looking for an SUV? The FX45 is amazing.
Or how about a truck? Got the Titan out there or the Dodge Ram with the Viper engine in it?
True sports car? How about a 350Z, RWD 300hp. Or you want a fast car with 4 doors? Then theres the STI or EVO or domestic got the Neon SRT-4.
So many choices out there. Depends on how much you lookin to spend and what type. Need to be more specific.
But I like the 350Z, but thats only b/c I have one and am HEAD OVER HEELS for it!

Toyota all the way best built car there is I've been working on cars for 21 years haven't seen better. Honda or Nissan would be runner ups in order most Toyota's are built in the USA

Buy American! Toyotas, Nissan, and Honda may be ASSEMBLED here but the money goes back overseas. And the misconception that they have better gas mileage or last longer are false!
2005 Toyota recalled more cars than they sold that year. Nissan and Toyota have just initiated some major recalls in the past week or two.
BUY AMERICAN: The job you save may be your own!

Personally, I really enjoy my Pontaic Grand Am. It gets 28 city and 32 highway miles per gal, looks sporty, and is affordable. If you would like a little more passenger room or more luxury, I would recommend the Grand Prix. Hope you find the perfect car.

It depends what are you looking for and how much you want to spend:
Something fast - check 2.0 turbo Volkswagen
Reliable and economical - Civic or Corolla
Safe - check Volvo or Mercedes Benz
Big and quiet - check new Explorer

Honda or Toyota. They last forever and the resale value stays up. Volkswagens cost way too much to fix.

The Kia Spectra is said to be this year's most reliable, all-around great car. My friend has one and it gets great gas mileage, drives smooth, and isn't that bad looking either. (Plus it's not high priced!)
