During the Depression years, our mom used to make nasturtium leaf sandwiches. That was it. Nasturtium leaves in between two slices of bread. I've never been enthusiastic about sandwiches ever since.

OMG I can't beat any of these stories! LOL! I love all kinds of weird sandwiches!
If I had to pick a worst, it would have to be the awful pimento cheese loaf you listed - by the time I'd get done picking out all the gross stuff, there was never much sandwich left!
LOL - you have GOT to give these points to the gal with the flower leaf sandwich! That is priceless! My grandmother said that my mother used to love mustard only sandwiches during the depression - but I'm thinking she might not have had the imagination to add flower leaves! WOW. Talk about making do with the little you've got!

Anything from Subway. If you like Subway, you should move to a city that has decent sandwhich shops. Subway is lower quality than MCD's

Since I once ate it while I had a really bad stomach flu, if I even hear about someone combining any kind of chocolate spread with any kind of bread, I vomit. Actually, just now, I threw up a little.

Liverwurst sandwiches. As a child, my mom used to pack them in my lunch every single day. If you are familiar with liverwurst, then you know its kind of like eating raw hamburger meat sans blood. I don't know what my mom's crazy obsession with liverwurst was but I can't even stand the sight of it today.
