Hmm, funny that. I'm most ardently NOT Christian and I have no STD's, no HIV/AIDS, and I've been married for 8 years (and we had a *GASP* PAGAN ceremony) and we're still as in love now as we were when we got married. And our daughter had a PAGAN birth ceremony (much like a christening) and she's just as healthy and happy as can be.
So before you go judging people who don't accept Jesus, think about your OWN life and whether you're living it right... Because I'm a GOOD person and my life is WONDERFUL, WITHOUT Jesus in it.

Are you seriously asking this question or is it a joke?
For one, I believe there was a guy named Jesus who lived in 0 AD and who started the religion of Christianity. Secondly, I've accepted the fact that he was probably real. That's about it.
As for me accepting Jesus as the son of God (who I, for one, do not believe exsists) It will not ever happen. I dont need eternal life, and I can have a life of peace, joy, hope, and love for all of mankind without accepting any religion. It's called being a positive citizen and a good person. It has nothing to do with God or Jesus.
I have nothing against people who do believe in religions, dont get me wrong, it's just not for me.

Well to answer your question by first refuting your ignorance on some topics.
Sin is an ambiguous term usually misused by people as a catch all for things that may or may not be included in Catholic or Christian Dogmas. The two types of sin, moral and venial have several different references for punishment and acts to define in the KJV of the Bible. Some things considered by the Magisterium of the Catholic Church to be ‘grave matters’ include adultery, murder, lust, willfully missing mass on Sunday, perjury, incredulity, and the use of contraceptives.
AIDS is not caused by or is a mortal or venial sin. The three main transmission routes of HIV are sexual contact, exposure to infected body fluids or tissues and from mother to fetus or child during prenatal period. It is possible to find HIV in the saliva, tears, and urine of infected individuals, but due to the low concentration of virus in these biological liquids, the risk is negligible.
STDs are also not caused by or is a mortal or venial sin. STDs are diseases or infections that have a significant probability of transmission between humans by means of sexual contact: vaginal intercourse, oral sex, and/or anal sex.
Broken families are not exclusive to those who have not accepted Jesus to the point that the Roman Catholic Church has annulments to speed along the way to separated families. Broken families are a tragedy to any people caught up in one. But the sadness of the situation is not one to hate, but one to assist and help those stuck in that situation.
Broken Lives and it is spelled lives also do not constitute a sin. The absence of the divine from someone’s life is not mentioned anywhere as a sin. The return of the divine spirit to someone's life can be heralded as a great thing, if that is what one desires. But I would hope that any solution, divine or otherwise would be granted onto that person who for any reason is troubled.
Well it is true that eternal salvation is promised through Jesus, but only in the new covenant. If you believe the new covenant, that works for your situation. But perhaps a group of people still follow the old covenant or a one that may differ from Peter's Church? They are also promised eternal salvation from Yahweh and some from Jehovah. Some, as I do believe that a belief in God (Jehovah) grants you eternal salvation, almost a Universalistic view.
A life of peace? Perhaps, but those focused on eternal life do little to help the current situation and look forward to death to reunite with the Lord. And that is a sad state.
Love for all mankind. That is a grand ideal, which few live up to. I can not think of maybe more than a handful of Jesus’ followers who have followed his teachings that would allow for a love of all mankind. The greatest liberal of all time, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, currently tends to be represented by those who use his name for their own fortune and profit.
So if this is how accepting Jesus is portrayed in our current culture, no matter the result, it is not difficult to see why people would rather not accept his offer, based on what those who supposedly speak for him, are saying and doing in his name.
Hatred and the desire for punishment of the non-believers is found nowhere in the new covenant, yet your assumed desire that if people do not find their way that these castigations will consume them, makes you seem petty and malice and discontented.
I wish you penitence and hope. Good luck.

Because there are no such things as gods ... other than in our society, culture, mythology, and legends.
(1) Good Christians get AIDS too.
(2) A lot of good Christians have STDs.
(3) A lot of good Christians have broken lives and broken families.
Yeah, you've sure got it better than me. Way to prove me wrong.

I would hate a religion that requires me to accept it or get "AIDS".Not that people who believe in Christ don't get "AIDS".Because they do..Why is it so hard for you to accept that people will follow the path that is best for them? Why not find Giggles and stop forcing your views and instead form new ones?

I'm far from any hard core atheist, but do you really think your question and commentary are going to convert them? Please, a little less 'in your face', please. You started out with "math", how about Pascal's perspective, the reasonable choice--if I (Pascal) am wrong, I lose nothing, if you (unbeliever) are wrong you lose everything. Anything else involving reason is what is respected and considered by them. Back up and take another run at it, please.

What a stupid question. Get this through your head - we don't believe god exists. We believe when you die you are dead and gone, no soul, no puffy white clouds, no choruses of angels, etc... Accepting jesus and all that crap gets you nothing different. Got it now?
