This may be a warble. Prepare yourself, this is icky...
A warble is actually the larvae of a bottlefly. It enters the animal's body through an opening such as nose, eye, or a wound. It grows under the skin and migrates to a preferred spot where it feeds and grows until it is ready to hatch, or until it dies because it can't find it's way out. It's not deadly, but a resulting infection could be if left untreated. It is also painful. You need to see a vet to be sure. Warbles are common on cattle and horses, and rabbits and mice, but are also seen on cats and dogs occasionally. I've encountered them personally before.

It could be a cuterebra - common this time of year. This kitten needs to see a veterinarian. Depending on where you are, a humane society may see the kitten - or you can sign it over - call them first.

Unlike what the first answer said - you don't want it to pop if it is a cuterebra - it could become more infected/toxic...read the link.

See the link, and if you cannot afford to care for this kitten medically, you shouldn't have it. Please sign it over to a shelter...a cat will need medical care through out its life - it will cost money!!!!!!

Sounds like an absess. It shouldn't be too expensive to treat but an absess in that area can be very serious. If it is an absess, probably from a bite from another cat, the vet will drain it and put it on antibiotics.

try soaking the boil with warm water and epsom salts (found in any drug store) 3-4 times a day for about 5 minutes at a time. if boil doesn't pop in 3-4 days, find a vet or at least call for advice.

Your kitten should see the vet. It sounds like she may have an abscess which will need to be lanced and drained and she'll need antibiotics. Call your local humane society and they may be able to help you with the costs.

of direction, it is the comparable reason maximum women human beings circumvent the superb adult men and decide for the undesirable boys whilst youthful, yet whilst they become previous they circumvent the undesirable boys and decide for the superb adult men. In human nature the female seeks an alpha male to guarantee the final genes are handed on, the alpha male passes on his genes and is going off to impregnate yet another woman, the superb guy beta male on the different hand purely gets what the alpha male does not want. In our day and age the "undesirable boy" suggestions-set is perceived as alpha (even although they are not alpha, it is purely a front). it is additionally why youthful yet mature fertile women human beings want actual alphas, they no longer fall for the undesirable boy front and want a fireman or a doctor or somebody powerful. whilst they are actually not youthful they alter into involved in people who will furnish their offspring and her with defend and nutrition, it is only about continuously the hopeful beta male. in the event that they get fortunate they are going to be waiting to pass on their genetic textile besides, and the cycle maintains with a sparkling technology of alphas maximum advantageous the tribe and betas helping the tribe. anyhow, allure boils all the way down to that, youthful virile studs want to have intercourse with each woman they meet. mutually as youthful girls human beings want the final finding/useful guy around. whilst older women human beings will have an interest in a powerful guy that makes her happy and could guard her and assure the survival of her offspring in return for letting the male mate along with her. It sounds crude yet it is written into our psychology. it is evolution at it is premiere.

You have to bring this kitten to a vet. She may have one of those wolf worms or it could be an abscess. Either way she needs to see a vet.
